NGT 4.6 takes some friction out of guest VM management. You can configure Nutanix Guest Tools on supported VMs without mounting a CD-ROM, and individual files can be restored directly to AHV VMs through the v4 APIs instead of recovering a whole machine. NGT server certificates now renew themselves before expiry, installation is more reliable across a wider set of Linux distributions, and bundled Python and OpenSSL components have been updated to close several vulnerabilities. The release ships with AOS 7.6 and as a standalone download; note that Windows Server 2008 R2 is no longer supported from NGT 4.2 onward.
